Based out of San Diego, Mid-City Architectural Engineering Inc. is a structural engineering consulting firm that provides efficient, reliable, and well-designed engineering services for residential and light-commercial projects. We provide the following structural engineering services for single-family dwellings (new homes, additions, and remodels), multi-family dwellings, retail, and restaurants:
Structural design for vertical-load and lateral-load resisting building systems and elements.
Foundation design including continuous footings, pad / spread footings, slab-on-grade, raised-wood-floor, retaining walls, grade beams, and caissons.
Full AutoCAD drafting of structural plans including foundation, framing, and detail sheets.
Christopher J. Turner, PE
Chris has over 16 years of experience in San Diego in the field of structural engineering. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2005 with a degree in Architectural Engineering, and obtained his California Professional Engineering license in 2010. He takes pride in building strong relationships with his clients. Along with residential projects, Chris has also worked on jobs for the San Diego Zoo and the Yum! brand of restaurants including Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut.
When not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife & three boys, as well as surfing, golfing, and travelling.
